Uh that wasn't a rape scene lmao. They were getting it on like normal people, she was a willing participant. Then the guy went all demon on her and got rough. So you could say he was scaring her, but it wasn't like she was saying no or trying make him stop. I love how like everything is just rape. Now idk why you would put a scene like that at all in a game, unless it was specifically made for adults?

Comoaring the violence of the first Mortal Kombat to Mortal Kombat 1, the one that was just released last, the violence in the very first MK is G rated compared to the fatalities in MK1. When I saw the fatalities in MK1, I was shocked! You don't see graphic violence like that in any horror movie that I have seen. Even Texas Chainsaw Massacre didn't show Leatherface cutting up the bodies with the chainsaw. You only heard the victims screams while seeing blood squirting from the victim from behind the victim. The victim isnt even shown in the scene. If the can get away with gory graphic violence in MK1 which in turn makes Texas Chainsaw Massacre a G rated movie in comparison.

I grew up with these games. We didn't have mass shootings, but we also had the assault weapons ban in effect from 94 - 2004. So that seriously lowered it. Anyways, until around 1999, the graphics weren't really good enough to normalize what today's games do. Take GTA for instance.... Why else do you think we're seeing these 17 year old babies stealing cars and doing absolutely retarded lawless shit? Because violence was normalized around them when they were children. Also, worth noting I'm making this comment in 2024, so we're starting to see the effects phones have had on kids. Yup, that's right 2015... Phones have brainwashed our kids, and they can no longer hold an attention span of longer than 20 or 30 seconds. A company from China created a SUPER successful app, and where in China the kids see educational shorts, they see "America's funnies short video" clips. It's dopamine hit after dopamine hit. It's basically like crack to them. And to adults... There's a new breed of "star" out there. The -Only-Fans- star. It's usually a cute girl, very nude, playing with toys or taking a big one. And you pay them money for "personalized" videos that they'll send you.... in actuality, they send the same videos to everyone... I know what you're saying... "But Corn is free!" Yup... but getting one 30 second hit of dopamine from getting that "personalized video" is worth 20 bucks, and much more. These girls are buying HOUSES with how much they're making! But, the effect is obvious... and it's affecting the poor the most. The kids have been brainwashed by video games to think violence is something that's OK in the moment. When Doom came out, and then Columbine happened (1997... first mass school shooting), all the kids who played it said there's no way. And there's not... it's just simply too non-realistic... You don't consider that you're shooting people... you're shooting sprites. So if you're a kid, maybe 10 or so, and your parents are haphazardly letting you play whatever you like, please go ask them to figure out what games are OK for you.... I'm sorry you're in this circumstance, but please listen because I'm giving you the best advice you could ever get. If you're 10-12, it's not too late for you... Stop staring at screens all day. NEVER use facebook, instagram, tik-tok, snapchat, etc. Dont' use them. Pretend it's the early 2000's, and the only thing the internet was good for was corn and learning things. Now go mix a batch, then learn some things

Being born in 1980 I remember the very first time my friend booted up doom on his computer. It was like seeing another world. I also remember the very first time I saw mortal kombat. I absolutely could not believe this was happening in my lifetime. I still think that that is the peak gaming revolution. I don't think any games that have come out recently or any better. GoldenEye 64 is the best first person shooter. And between the NES and Playstation 2 every great game that has ever existed existed between them.

Ocarina of Time what's much more famous for being the legend of Zelda game that destroyed the franchise. No one that was born in 1990 or before would continue to play the series after that. Remember Drug Lord? Where you would buy up a bunch of drugs and sell them. You started out on the street and then you would eventually move the bigger locations. You had to move around like 5 or 10 different locations to find different prices on different drugs to make a profit. Everybody I know play that in the late 80s and early 90s

Someone never played the 3DO port of Doom. Sure graphically it was superior to the SNES version but the framerate was so hideous the screen size was shrunk down to try and compensate and it still made the SNES version's framerate look like a dream in comparison. Full-screen mode was hidden behind a cheat code and then it REALLY became a slideshow. The entire development of the port is its own story, being handled by a single person who was given ridiculous time constraints by a publisher who had zero idea of how game development actually worked. The one positive thing is it had the BEST version of the Doom soundtrack, hands-down.

The problem is it doesn’t matter how gory or how violent the game is. It’s down to the parents to monitor what they play so if a child is playing a game what is not meant to be playing? It’s down to the parents and it’s the parents fault of the child not the person brought out the game the parents bought but not paying attention. What they get to doing they should blow up charges not the game.

Wow. When you think of the INSANE levels of violence in current video games, and we all know how incredibly insane I'm talking about,( Call of Duty's No Russian mission as an EXTREME example! ) , back in the old days of 70's, 80s and 90s, your imagination was the most violent part of the game. I'll NEVER forget the first time playing DOOM! When I started getting deeper and deeper in the game and started coming across various depictions of satanic imagery and torture, my imagination went wild! But not in a way that made me want to BE violent. But in a way where I would come up with my own backstories for what I was seeing. And to be honest, THAT is what made earlier games fantastic! Having to use your own imagination to fill in the blanks or vagueness in the stories or graphics. Games like TWISTED METAL, SYPHON FILTER, DRIVER, and of course the GOATS like RESIDENT EVIL and SILENT HILL were just amazing for that. A map made for a car battle or espionage missions made you wonder about the minute details of the places you're exploring. And the background art that you couldn't reach gave the games universe a sense of infinite grandeur. There will never be a time like that again. And I feel bad for any young gamers who never got to experience that type of gaming experience.

  • @jublywubly

Another couple of games, for the list, are: Vendetta. In that game, there's a gay leather bar, like the Blue Oyster bar in the '80s comedy movie Police Academy. The leather-clad gay guys have big red lips and they take away your character's health by licking your face. If your character dies next to one of the gay dudes, the dude sometimes jumps on top and starts humping him. Later in the game are doberman security dogs. In some parts they bark and bite you, in other parts, the dogs have their tongue's hanging out and they'll hump your character's leg, taking away more of your life energy. The other one is Quarantine. Your character is a taxi driver in a quarantined zone. You have to pick up weirdos, including gang members and transvestites. Your taxi comes with standard headlight-mounted machine guns, but you can upgrade weapons with the money you earn from passengers. The goal is to obtain a pass code to exit one zone to get into the next zone and so on. 4:10 The games can't be covered by the U.S. first amendment. That amendment only pertains to people's freedom to practice religion and to talk about their religion. Despite it being quite clear about that, most U.S. people don't seem to have even read their first amendment, because they claim it gives them to right to show or say what-ever they want, where-ever they want, but that's not what it says. 6:00 There's a Commodore64 game called Chiller, but it's completely unrelated to the one in this video. 19:08 Carmageddon is still definitely based on Death Race 2000. It even has some of the same cars in it. It's also available for free on Android tablets.

This is such a disappointing video. You spent more time lamenting about Doom and Wolfenstein than you did about the actual subject title of your video. Especially when these games didn't exactly cause any reasonable controversy. You could have talked about things like The Guy Game and their underage models, Manhunt and Thrill Kill. All of which became legendary titles because of their controversial content.
